The app needs to be updated (2013, its been a while). The app used to work great, then it stopped working when I updated my phones IOS. I really enjoy this app especially when I travel or when I need something good to listen to. Please make the app more compatible. I deleted it then re-installed it and again it wouldnt play. Im hoping the problem can be fixed sometime.

This app has completely stopped working with my upgrade to iOS 10. When I select a station it just buffers and then stops.

The title says it all.

Since upgrading my iPhone 5s and iPad Air to iOS 10, the Public Radio app will not stream stations. It was one of my most used apps. I was unable to sign up with the PRX support site for this app hence this review to try to get this fixed.

This was my go to way to listen to my local NPR stations as I have terrible radio reception in my area. The app used to work great but now it does not. Its useless - buffers endlessly and never plays. Even when every other streaming player I have, especially a bandwidth heavy one like YouTube, works flawlessly with my high speed internet connection. Removing the app, resetting the iPhone, iOS upgrades, reinstalling the app - no luck. Now I have to be in front of my desktop computer listening to the stream directly from the stations website. Its a real shame because the programming at NPR is so great but now I am hamstrung by not being able to have the freedom to listen when and where I want.

Loved this app but it doesnt work with new OS. Such a shame

After latest update, and after upgrade to iOS10, no stations will stream. It was hit or muss before this update (i.e., some stations streamed,some didnt). Please get the bugs out!!!

For many years this was the best streaming app for NPR. It was so convenient I not only used it when I travelled but when I was at home because it was easier than turning on my radio. Since the release of iOS 10, it simply doesnt work. I have tried removing the app from my phone and then reinstalling it, but it still fails to work. I am so sad to be removing it from my phone. The Tunein radio app has become my new radio app and works well.

Ive been using this app for some time, and have found it useful. However, after updating my phone to iOS 10, when I press Play I get the gear icon which rotates without end. I can stream the stations I like via web browser. This app does show the schedule of the station selected, but does not play the programming.

I enjoy the opportunity to be able dial in the public radio app while on the road and listen to my area radio even when not in my listening area or to select any station through the app.

This was my go to app for public radio. It just doesnt work anymore. Earlier I was having to close and reopen many times and now it wont work at all for any station.

It looks like the developers for this application are not updating it to support iOS 10. Very disappointing!!

I used to love it but it died recently, now it never plays. :(

The app has always been buggy. Now with iOS 10 it wont connect at all, at least on my iPhone 6+. I will miss it, frustrations and all.

For the past week, no program will play, even when I have full strength WIFI. Ive tried numerous programs and none roll play. Progress circle spins for a while and then stops. I deleted the app and restored. Tried programs Ive never tried before. No difference. This app is dead.

Until recently, this was a great app. But, once I upgraded to ios10, it stopped working. Im hoping for an upgrade.

Doesnt work on iOS 10. Tried to find a local station and it just spins forever. No wonder. Hasnt been updated in 3 years. So sad

No longer can connect after updating my phone. I used to LOVE this app.

Used to be good, now its useless. Since installing iOS 10 I cant play any stations - it just spins and spins. I can still look up stations, but thats about it. I might as well delete the app.
